Billy G. Thorne, bgt, here, and welcome to my slice of the interweb. Are you here purposefully? Are you just wandering by? Did you trip on your shoelace? Owe a debt to a friend? Whatever which or way, you are more than welcome, and I hope you stay. Actually, I hope you return every week on Sunday when I post new content. 

The content here on Billy G. Throne is diary entries, short stories, and stream of consciousness. My diary entries are actual diaries from my day-to-day life. I am sharing this directly with you. My short stories are fabrications of one’s ingenuity. Each character is different. Despite them being fictional, they do exist. My stream of consciousness is the thoughts of your everyday person. Some may be more impulsive and murky than others, and despite them being hard to indulge, I hope you stay.

A familiar rhetoric we often hear is that 70 percent of communication is nonverbal. I am here to put those nonverbal cues onto paper. Noise in mouth. Melody to ears. Rhythm to body. 

Please enjoy and provide feedback. Please tell me what you would like to hear. Not to improve my skills but to enhance my life and the world around me. This goal is not to be ignored. I am writing for those like me. Some of the thoughts that I share in my content are diabolical. My content is not dinner table conversations. I am okay with that; I can only imagine you are, too. 

They will make you uncomfortable. You may skip over some of the things I say because they can be too personal. I have accepted that. I yearn to break away from everything known about American literature. Are you interested in accompanying me on this journey?
